Rem Model Seven Question

I have been considering the purchase of a Remington Model Seven Stainless with synthetic stock chambered in 7mm-08. Are there any other brand/models available comparable in size, weight, performance, and price I should be considering. Thanks in advance.

browning a-bolt in that caliber is nice and light. i am a remington fan, but the a-bolt shoots great.

Mastone, the answer is NO! I bought a mod 7 7-08 for deer hunting a couple of years ago. You will not find a lighter, more accurate, handy rifle. And it kills like a 30-06. My only objection is the safety. It's noisey as all get out in the woods. I'm planning on replacing it with a aftermarket three position Winchester type. In two years, two one shot kills on whitetails. Good luck.
