Any decent value? Can it, due to age be sold without going thru a FFL dealer, legally, and how to ship withoutovernite Air? I am not up on antiquehandguns. If pics would help E mailj3rdinf@comcast.net. This gun is DEFINATELY an antique. It is either a .38 single action Second model or a .38 double action second model. Both would have been made prior to 1891. II would tend to lean toward the double action, but you can tell that. The double action was made from 1880-1994. Book value 80% about $200. I saw one, in about 95%, sell for $400. Will depend upon seller and buyer. The singlee action was made from 1877-1891. Book value about $15 less than double action. were app 108,000 of this made and about 115,000 of the double action made. Both were in 38S&W caliber. You can tell which model you have by weither it is single or double action.
The second admendment GUARANTEES the other nine and the Constitution!
