Best source for FAL parts kits

I'm in the market for a FN-FAL-type parts kit, particularly the G1. There are many places selling these quite reasonably. Most are listed in "good" condition for under $140. My question is, which place sells the highest quality kits? Wholesale Guns and Ammo, Sarco, DSA, www.gunthings?? Any experiences you can share would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just got in 3 refinished G1 kits from DSA.Around $180 each I think.Tapco and FAC have some that are nice but will need refinishing.cpermd

Was the condition of your DSA kits as advertised? Could you describe the overall condition? How were the barrels? Thanks!

The kits were very nice.Made by FN. They sent an extra set of wood that cleaned up well in the dishwasher.Bores were excellent.the synthetic stocks were scratched up but came out fine after sandpaper.I think all the G1 kits came from the same source,so if you are going to refinish your own I would get the cheapest.cpermd

I ordered mine today. The price of $139 is pretty competetive, but parkerizing the entire kit for an extra $39 is absolutelyunbeatable! This job alone costs as much or more than the entire kit around where I live! I hope mine turns out as nice as yours.
