Has anyone shot this pistol? How does it compare to the regular Buck Mark. Is it worth the extra $. I know the price is because of the commerative nature of it.-Marcus

Normally commeratives are bought as collectables, and thus are not shot. It would not make a lot of sense to pay the extra money and then shoot it and destroy what ever collector value may accrue in time. If you just like it a lot and are willing to pay the extra price to shoot it, it is your pistol. It will likely shoot like a buckmark, which is to say not bad at all.

Historically, Commemaratives are not worth the difference. Look at the Win. 94s. Only about 3 of them are worth more than their original price!! D.U., Turkey Fed, Elk Foundation, all are the same guns that you hope in unfired condition somebody will pay out the butt for!! It doesn't happen!! If you want to shoot a Buckmark (fine choice) buy a regular issue and shoot the dickens out of it!!! Over 3000 rounds through one with no failures yet. GHD
