saddle bags

I have a pair of US army saddle bags. They are stamped ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1903. These are in V/good cond. Have been stored in attic sence early 50s.Can you give me apx. value Thank You E-mail moorman111@webtv.net

    There were several different types of military bags that would have their own value but the most common were McClellen[sp].They were made of cow hide or pig with canvas inner bags.As far as value,the cowhides seem to go for $200 and pig skin $125 in perfect condition.Any less condition finds its own level.I hope this helps.

    Picked up a nice pair in the last month for $160.00. Cabella's has a real nice pair of reproductions for $109.95, canvass liner for $11.95.
