Sig P-230 Opinions

Am considering the purchase of this in .32 acp.Am I correct in assuming that these are no longer made and they are now the P-232? Anyone with experiences especially as to reliability I would like your opinions.Anything you can add would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

    I have a P232 in 380acp and I can tell you that it has feed and ejected everything that I have loaded in the mag. It points well and conceals also. It is about as big as I care to go down here in sunny South Florida. I have never heard of anything with SIG written on the side that wasn't a fine piece of machinery. IMHO it is the Rolex of handguns....

    The 230 is a great little pistol, as is the 232. It is easy to shoot and very accurate.

    On the minus side, it is a little big for deep concealment. It is markedly bigger than a PPK. However, having an aluminum frame, it is lighter than a PPK.

    Personally, I would not even consider a .32 caliber in a gun big enough to handle the .380. It's kind of like ordering a new full-sized truck and settling for a six-cylinder engine.

    I agree with nunn. I know there all sorts of fans for 32s but there are smaller guns for that caliber. If you get a 230/232 get some Hogue fingergroove grips for it. Makes a big difference.

    Have had two 230's in the last couple of years, great "little" 380.
    Would still have them but price keep going up to the point that they were worth more to others than to me.

    Right now I have gone Kimber crazy!!!
