I would like some expert advice on which barrel I should buy, the 28 inch or the 30?

When I was shooting clays I used a 28" on my Browning GTI.
What it's going to come down to is which one balances / handles better for you. Theirs no difference in proformance on the birds, just personal taste and feel in your hands.

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

I shoot a little trap, and the 32" barrel works well, but that is an over/under. You see I don't like picking up my empties off the floor.
In straight trap there is a small amount of direction change and longer barrels are easier to point.
In sporting clays and skeet, direction change becomes more important and a shorter barrel is better.
But what is comes down to is what tail gunner said, what feels more comfortable to you.

The 28in is the most versatile, and is capaple of taking care of all your shotgunning needs.

    Good luck.

    Getreal,
I use an A500G Sporting Clays model for informal trap. Mine is fitted with a 28" tube. With the Briley extended choke tube installed I must use a 56" case for toting to the range - one thing to keep in mind. I see no real advantage to the 30" tube.
    Have safe 4th!!!!!!
