Apache Air Rifle?

A friend brought over a pump up rifle recently.We are trying to figure out what it is,caliber,etc.Only markings on gun are Apache-Pasadena,California.It is not .177 or .22 pellet.Any info fom the experts would be greatly appreciated.

    I am sorry to inform you that I no info for you. I noticed no replies for your post. I did take a look at my 1969 edition of "Gun Digest". They always list a section of air guns. I found nothing matching your decription.

    you didn't say if the barrel size is between .177 & .22, but I'd think that leaves 5mm. (.20 cal.)
    Daisy used to make an Apachie model, but I'm pretty sure they sisn't make one in 5mm
    not much help - am I?

    My dad bought one (early 50's I think) and it came with a supply of round lead balls around .24 cal. About a year later the gun developed a leak and he couldn't find anyone to repair it. The combination of odd size ammo and no repair parts probably led to a short life span for the gun. They were very powerful and I still remember him showing me it would go completly through a 1" board and stressing that it was not like the average Red Ryder BB gun. I still have it but it got placed in the basement when I was in the service and rusted very badly.
