HS or XD???

I haven't had the opportunity to break down either, or even hold them side by side yet. I've seen both, held both, just not at the same time. I was wondering if anyone new if they had any, and I mean any slight differences in quality of manufacture.

I'm trying to justify passing up a deal on an HS2000 that I really should spend the money on something else, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
