Will witness mags work in baby eagle

I just got a baby eagle (beagle), in 45acp, it only came with one mag and was wondering if witness mags would work in the beagle. Also where is the best place to find extra mags. Also(again) I would like to find a paddle holster to fit my beagle. I have heard beagles in 45acp have jamming problems. I only have about 100 rounds through mine, CCI blazer, with no problems. I've not tried any HP's yet.

Yes, the mags interchange. I have them available. As for the holster, there will be some nylon and probably some leather available too. As of right now Fobus isn't offering one. As for jamming, time will tell. LRARMSX@MCHSI.COM

I believe the Beagle and Witness are both made by Tanfoglio. Do you agree lrarmsx?

My experience with the Witness .45, one of my favorite pistols, is that the Mec-Gar-made magazines are far superior to the Tanfoglio-branded magazines. I find it next to impossible to get 10 rounds in a Tanfoglio magazine and then lock the magazine in the pistol. (Actually, I find it impossible.) With Mec-Gar-made magazines, there is no problem loading 10 rounds and locking the magazine in the pistol.

I have found my Witness to be totally reliable, but my round count is not very high in the pistol. I note that Plus P ammunition is not authorized for the Witness, and it may be the same for the Beagle. However, I have a magazine test of a .45 Witness where the author used a lot of Plus P with no apparent problems.

Yes Judge, both guns originate at Tanfoglio, in Italy. The Baby Eagle makes a stop in Israel before making it to the USA.

MY LOCAL GUNSMITH AND INSTRUCTOR USES 9MM WITNESSES TO TEACH THE COURSE. HE USES +P AMMO IN HIS GUNS AND HAS NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS.

MONTRESSOR, in comparing the thickness of the chamber and barrel of a .45 Witness to the thickness of the chamber and barrel of a 9x19 Witness, I would have no worry about the 9x19. However, the .45 chamber and baarrel are very thin by comparison, and give me a bit of concern when looking at them. Still, as I said, a magazine writer put lots of Plus P through a .45 Witness with no trouble.

I just plink with mine and do not carry it for defense so have never worried about the Plus P issue in the .45.
