I HAVE A 10 GA LC SMITH HAMMER GUN DBL. SER# [12814] FEILD GRADE, ON THE RIB STAMPED [LC SMITH MAKER,SYRACUSE NY. STUB TWIST] GOOD TIGHT GUN , LIGHT PITTING IN BARREL. OTHERWISE IN GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE.

    You have one of the early Elcee's. After the mid 1890's the manufacture went to Hunter Arms in Fulton, NY.

    Assuming the gun is uncut and in reasonable condition as far as stock and general mechanicals, I'd have to give an estimate of somewhere in the $350.00 range. Obviously you're aware that the gun shouldn't be used with anything other than black powder loads and that this is probably more of a display piece than anything else.
