What magazines fit the 9mm Hi Point carbine? Have been told they use either Glock or S&W.

Marlin 9mm Camp carbines will accept S&W m59 magazines, if thats maybe what you've heard.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
The sound of a 12 gauge pump clears a house fatser than Rosie O eats a Big Mac !

Anyway, the gunsmith she talked to shouldn't have given advice on a gun that he either never looked at or knew so little about gunsmithing, that he didn't notice the serious problems that this gun had. I did end up with the gun for $90. I had a gentleman who had overheard the whole verbal exchange with this woman, say that he wouldn't have given her $50 for that gun. I said yes, but I got it off the street and my gunsmith could make it safe to shoot again before it ever saw the light of day again. I was right, it did end up selling for about $160 after I paid the gunsmith to fix the timing and add a new lock system to the front lockup. All said and done, no money was made on it, but at least it was safe again.
I just know that woman left thinking that she had just been taken, when in fact it had been 8 years earlier when she had been screwed. Maybe the gunsmith that told her it was worth $250 just didn't want to appear to be the bad guy. No guts I guess.
As for mis-information, unfortunately it happens all the time. I've seen it on the net as well as in real life. It would in fact be the Kel-Tec that will accept a Glock or S&W mag, depending on which it was set up for at the factory. The Kel-Tec will soon be available in a Beretta mag configuration as well as a Sig mag configuration in the near future. And if they can get with it, the .40 caliber models will be available sometime too.
Unfortunately, the High Point carbines will only take a single stack magazine made exclusively for their gun. There are both factory and aftermarket ones available, but the largest capacity is only 10rds.
