Did this gun suffer the same failing as the Smith & Wesson SW99 or is that just with the Smiths?

What failing is that, I'm not that familiar with the SW99 other than seeing it advertised in magazines.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Many stories of the gun malfunctioning and departments giving them up.The worst I read was a cop gearing up for shift in the locker room loaded his SW99 hit the decocker and shot the man next to him. There was another where a cop was riding down the road and his gun fired on his hip.How that happened I dont know.ut I have seen alot of stories of severe failings with this gun.
