I own a Diawa automatic 12 guage shotgun it is in perfect condition hand has never been shot. I have owned it for 20 years and my uncle owned it for several years before that. I would like to know what anyone knows about this gun and what it is worth.

Diawa is a good name, but they didn't make the gun as far as I can determine. Probably made by one of the bigger companies such as Miroku.

Though in unfired condition, the gun will be of little interest other than a shooter. Manufacture in Japan, though of high quality, will depress the price as compared to something like a Belgian A-5 or even a Remington 1100.

Not knowing the full details of your gun I'd have to say that the value will be somewhat below a similar Japanese A-5. For example: A 12ga. field model with a vented rib can be had for somewhere in the $500.00 range. Unfired condition might add a few dollars, but probably won't. My guess is that your gun will bring 10 to 20 percent less... Unless it's a very special piece.
