Found a guy selling these for a little over $300. Anybody
have one, or shot one? How is the quality, etc.?

Tried one once, didn't like it. I'm not a big fan of Taurus anyway. I didn't like the trigger pull and it wasn't at all comfortable in my hand.

Taurus's are a pretty decent buy in my OPINION. They have an excellent warranty. I just bought my dad a Taurus 62 pump 22 for father's day, and was very impressed with it. Fit to finish was really nice, and had excellent wood. They are a heck of alot higher quality from the origianal Rossi's. I would be willing to guess that their pistols are equally as nice. A couple of my classmate's went thru the acadamy with the 92 clones, and none of them complained.

Just some extra stuff, here's the blue book on the PT 145 Millennium .45acp.

    MSR $490, 100%=$395, 98%=$320, 95%=$250, 90%=$200, 80%=165, add $70 for night sights

    If its the stainless model:

    MSR $500, 100%=$400, 98%=$325, 95%=260, add $75 for night sights.

    Hope this info helps,
    lb

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I know a guy who has one and he likes it he said its very accurate and reliable.More than he thought it would be when he purchased it.He got one because of the price instead of getting a Mini-Glock he said hed try this first and hes been pleased with his purchase.BUT he said he has had major problems with Taurus's customer service. But he likes just the gun.Good Luck

I really like the little guns Taurus is now known for their quality guns.ANd this .45 is no exception.I would own one but I have big hands and its hard for me to control. But if your in the market for a nice .45 the price is right.

    Best!

    Thanks guys!!!

I have not decided on getting one yet, but the price is
right, it is new in the box for a little over 300. I
    have 2 Colt's already. But I think I need another .45,
    to make it 3!!!!!

Never have been a fan of the long, heavy, gritty trigger pull on the milleniums. I now tell people that Taurus' quality is as high as S&W ever got down to. Not the best but acceptable. Besides, you can't have too many 45s and the price is right.
