Trying to remove buttstock from a 1960's Darne,it is not the same as my 1930's Darne.It is a V19 grade. Anybody know the drill??

If I could find a DARNE "Quail Hunter" in 28 gauge for $1600, I would fall down in a silly-giggling fit.
I would have to take out a signature loan in order to buy it, (they still do those where I live) but it would definately by the PRINCESS of my safe.
If you come up to my end of Florida and hunt with me, it is a quail, snipe, woodcock machine. Extreemly marginal for dove, and absolutely worthless for waterfowl (well except for rails, and unless you are prepared to load "hevy-shot" forget it).
