I do have to add this about the sig, I've seen quite a few officer's carrying them, and the only, and I mean only complaint I've ever heard about them was that their finish coat wears off to easy.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
The sound of a 12 gauge pump clears a house fatser than Rosie O eats a Big Mac !
When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....
I've since added a P226 which is a dream to shoot. My 1911 is still numero uno to this shooter's heart, but I could live happily with a P220 and not feel deprived.
You would do well to buy a P220, but not part with your Kimber unless you don't like it.

I am not unhappy with the Kimber. I haven't shot it and was planning on selling it and replacing it with a Colt. I was offered the trade and I am considering the trade. The person with the P220 is not unhappy with the SIG, he is just keeping his 1911 style guns. I have a Colt Commander and Springfield Armory 1911 that I shoot regularly.
