Kimber sights?

Here's my question for the experts. How difficult is it to change out Kimber factory sights with say night sights? I would think a competent gun plumber could do it relatively easily with the right tools. I ask because I was looking at a Pro-Carry II HD the other day. I asked about the sight and the guy said it was very difficult to do. And yes I know, I can't find this model with factory night-sights installed. Thanks for the replies.

Any competent smith should be able to change your sights. I would think that you could send the gun or just the slide back to Kimber to have it done as well. My suggestion is that you think very carefully about what sights would work best for you before you spend the money. The tritium sights I've seen on Kimbers were rather small. I'd try and get AO/Express sights if possible and available.

I would have to agree, and do let a Gunsmith put them on.I have heard horror tales of people doing it theirselves and the sights flying off.

    Good Luck.
