I remember seeing somewhere somebody selling something to silence the action spring in an AR15's stock (BANG! twangangangang...) Looked thru all my catalogs & come up empty-handed. Any folk's point me to the right path to find this item?

I know of no device but you can coat the buffer spring with some heavy moly grease and it cuts way down on the SPROING.

whats wrong with the SPROING... It wouldn't be right for an AR not to have a SPROING... I have two AR's, both have SPROINGS. Believe me, you grow to love it.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

That's right, the spring twang is part of the reason to like 'em. As for your question, I don't know. Never hear a quite one.

I've always said everyone needs a good SPROING from time to time!
