Anyone ever had a scope refinished?....I've got a Swarovski 3-9 that has seen some hard hunting trips, good shape....just scratched up a bit.

Mr. R..... Trebark will cammo a scope at the owner's risk (they dip them through a film of paint floating on water..scope can't have any leaks). They have a dozen patterns to pick from, and maybe they could even do a solid color (black?). Probably wouldn't hurt to ask...They're in Roanoke Va.

I've had it done by www.montanascopecompany.com. For a good quality scope, it's worthwhile.

I've never had to have one done from damage, but I had a few old Leupolds turn a reddish color...they put new tubes on them for free

You would think if they could have refinished them, they would have..
If there is such a thing, I've never heard of it

Let us know how it goes I have a scope that could stand to be refinished, but Ive been told to let it alone. An old timer told me that each mark and all the color wear represents the memorys that made that scope what it really is.I guess he has a point, but its not his shiny Weatherby its on.

    Good luck.

I personally would ask Swarovski re: refinishing.
My Leupolds and old B&L/ Rochester made are optically
perfect but show the scars of forty years of hunting. Kind of match the finish of the rifles. 101

Swarovski is a high end scope, and they probably have high end service and waranty for it to. Just send it back to them.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
