Can anyone tell me where on the net to find the year of mfg. or just the series # from the serial #?

Thanks,

Not sure where on the net but there is a small booklet available that details this info. If you email me your serial number I can let you know both. endofwork@netzero.net

PS- I won't be able to respond until next Monday so perhaps someone else here can provide the info.

The best place to learn about any Woodsman is at the Bob Rayburn (God of Woodsman) site:

    http://www.colt22.com/

You should be able to find all you want to know, including serial number charts in the FAQ section.

    JUDGECOLT,

    Thanks for the information.
cb, sorry for jumping upon your post. I have many ColT Woodsman's and the Judge is extremely helpful. As a collector of Colt's, If you may receive information w/o spending $100.00 for a Colt Letter go for it.
