Remington 597 ?

Whats the consensus here on the Remington 597 models in .22 and in .22mag. I have not heard great things (clips not feeding and jamming) about these and was wondering what the experts think ?

    I have one in 22 mag. and I also heard horror stories about magazine feeding problems but mine performs flawlessly. It will hold about a 1 1/2 inch group at 100 yards and is deadly on squirrels.

    Im kinda glad to here it if it has flaws.I was going to buy one. The last 22 REM rimfire I bought was the Model 522 Viper.And I still admire it was a fine little gun. It seems like you can never get to many 22s.
