I have always been a fan of the Rem 700 BDL.and I own a few.I have never owned a ADL,is the only difference the adl does not have a hinged floorplate, and it does not have the shiny stock.I was cleaning a few rifles and noticed some of my Rems said BDLDM some were just BDL.When I went to their website I think I became more confused with all the new models.Just curious about te hinged floor plate. Thanks in advance.

BDLDM means detachable magazine. BDL's have hinged floorplates as oriinally offered or can be had with detachable magazines. The original ADL's had shiny wood but no foreend cap and a blind magazine. Now the ADL'S have dull or satin finish or or available in synthetic matte blue or blue with the wood stock. There's a bookoo of options for the BDL's! GHD
