where might i find a frame for a colt .22 scout. other wise i have the complete gun. thanks , joe

    Joe, I don't think it's going to happen.

    Colt never sold bare frames. So, your only source would be a gun sold at auction with bad parts, but a good frame --- something not likely to be found.

    On the other hand, parts for obsolete Colts bring a high price because there is no good source for them. You may do well selling what you have at auction, or selling them all to one of the dealers who specializes in Colt parts.

    The frame IS the gun and without that, you only have loose parts. Finding a frame will be difficult and even if you do, you'll have to have it sent to an FFL dealer. You would be much better off financially to sell off the parts and buy yourself a complete Scout with the profits!
