I had a customer today who wanted to check on the status of his delayed purchase. I learned that the FBI no longer allows checking by phone. The recorded message said you could look for a status on their webpage but I couldn't find the right link. I tried using their search box with different terms, I looked on their site map and came up blank.

Does anyone have the correct link handy?
I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly

Since 10/1 there has been a government shutdown. Because the pols of both parties, are having a pissing contest. Think that might have a baring on your problem?

just to note; after 3 days "delayed" becomes a mute point, the firearm can be given to the purchaser just as if it came back "approved".

The FBI says that the shutdown is not affecting NICS.

The company I work for will not sell any firearm without a positive proceed response from the FBI.
