    Only rifle factory drilled & tapped for this mount was the Savage Model 340 centerfire bolt action. It and its predeceasors the Model 322, 325, etc and alias the "Springfield 840" were variously chambered for the .22 Hornet, .222 Rem., .223 Rem. (5.56mm). .225 Winchester and .30-30 Win. Not all of these models were made in all these calibers, and the earliest ones were not drilled & tapped for a ascope mount.

    The mount will also work on any rifle with a rounded receiver profile that has enough length on the left side for the 4 mounting screw holes - those rifles will have to be drilled &tapped for said mounting holes.

    My 340 with this mount in 22 hornet is really good.
    I was looking at other guns since I have 2 more of these mounts.
