Anyone know what this is? Apologies for the pictures. I edit them correctly and Photobucket screws it up somehow. I can't get them to come through right side up. Any help is appreciated! Thanks and Happy Columbus Day Weekend.

Looks like the Model 1883, 10.6 mm caliber similar to .44 Russian.

Your is kind of hard to interpret, because of the camera angle.
It appears to been originally marked "AK", which denotes issue to a Army Corp Headquarters.
The newer markings after it left the possession of the Army Corp, is "A". This denotes Field Artillery Regiment.
Best I can make out is that it's the 64th weapon, issued to 2nd Company, of the ( unknown ) Field Artillery Regiment.
One word of caution. Leave the safety alone and don't touch it. It's very fragile and I just sold a lever for $75 to someone that played with his. It was obsolesent when built and is probably the only military single action revolver with one.
