    mmppres,

Imageshack makes it difficult to get the direct links to photographs. Fortunately, these were not too hard to find:

A nickel slide at Numrich is $50.45 plus shipping. Since (in my opinion) that is more than the value of the gun, I would call it a lost cause.

You are looking at a pistol that retailed for about $120 and is worth at best about a hundred bucks in nice shape. The slide represents half the total value of the entire pistol so you can use your own judgement.

Nothing like old world materials, and craftsmanship.

The first CCW class I went to. One of the students brought one in, to qualify with. I guess I should be thankful that it was such a jamamatic. That the instructor had to let him qualify with a loaner.

Who would have thought that you get what you pay for? Do the world a favor and see how many hits is can take from a five pound sledge hammer.[:)]

You should scrap out all the useable parts besides just the magazine.

When I took the CHL Instructor course at DPS HQ in Austin, the Jennings/Bryco 59 was the ONLY pistol, called out by make and model, that was BANNED from the DPS range. Instructors said they had two show up in an earlier class and both blew up.

Why in the heck anyone wanting to be a pistol instructor would even own one of these is beyond my comprehension.
