Mini-mauser magazine dimensions?

Can anyone tell me the length of the magazine box on a mini-mauser action (Zastava, Interarms, Rem 799). They seem to be made in .223 and 7.62x39, but I'm trying to figure out if a slightly longer bullet would fit for a rebuild project. Thanx.

The rifle is an Interarms .223.
Have you checked the length of your chamber first?
Best.
I think Tflogger told me what I needed to know. I was hoping that the magazine would be long enough in one of these actions to accommodate an overall cartridge length (i.e., loaded w/bullet) of ~2.55 inches, but if it is only 2.35 inches then what I had in mind won't work in this action. Will probably have to resort to using a Remington Mod. 700 or Seven.
Thanks again for tking the time!. Where I live "inhand" examples are hard to come by.
Thanks guys,

These rifles are also available in standard "short action" (308, 243, etc) and long action (30-06, 270) calibers...
