Replaced the grips on this little gun, but it seems the trigger slide bar that engages the firing pin or firing mechanism won't stay engaged. It drops out when you chamber a round. I don't remember this being a problem before? Anyone suggest why or how to fix third problem.

Lot of times the inner surface(s) of the grip are used to keep the parts in position. In the past I have had to rework grips by either very carefully removing material. Or exactly opposite shiming the part that was supposed to keep in contact with the grip. It can be a trial and error proposition, trying to figure out whats wrong and how to fix it.

If the trigger bar is binding on the grip when the grip is tightened,
carefully file the channel in the grip to allow running clearance.
