what do I have here guys found another box of parts from gun smith clean out hammer is 3 inches high by 1 7/8 wide hex hole for bolt has a capital letter I inside. lock is 4 1/4 inches long 1 1/8 inches wide at biggest part markings are in script capital m small ve captial r le de mutzig also a w inside a circle on lock face inside lock is mve 1849? ic 390 thanks mike

Usually the locks on rifles were, larger than the ones used on handguns. You might be able to narrow it down to a specific type that way.
