remington model 700 BDL

I bought a Remington model 700 bdl 243 with a cheap scope and sling.
ser. # G6226---.
i would rate the rifle at 90-95% for the wood and bluing. i have no pictures.
i would appreciate an estimated value and the build date

It should have a barrel code for the date. From the sticky above

I have used a magnifying glass and the only thing I see on the left side of the barrel is Remington arms company lyon NY 243 Winchester.
on the right side is the ser.#, Remington model 700, a triangle with the point towards the muzzle with a side ways z in it and a thing that looks like a fish body without a head that has REP inside it
