Instruction manuals

I have finally found a site to help me locate a manual for a small pistol I was given by a family member. Here we go: ARMI Tanfoglio Giuseppe (semi auto) mod. GT27 .25 cal It was made in Italy. On the barrel is "do not use gun until you read instructions. Then it says manual is available from> EXCAM in Hialeah. Fl. I have been able to find that this company went out of business in 1990. So there go that lead. Can anyone let me know where to find a manual for this before I shoot my toe off! This one is in excellent shape, black handles and a carry case as my guess is that it was in a drawer for along time. It is probably not worth much so I'm going to keep it. I would just like to shoot it safely. Thanks to anyone that could direct me in the right path to a manual. (P.S. I have never been on a forum before so if I stepped on toes or did something I shouldn't..sorry)

I purchased three guns at a pawnshop this week. I recvd. no booklets or manuals.I was told that on the net, some manufacturers post their manuals and drawings.Chas Daly website would not even let me in as I bt. a 12 gauge semi-auto field (made in Japan); Rem .270 model 700; and a Marlin 30/30 lever.I want to strip my new guns. Should I just write the companies and hope they will send?

Every gun company I have ever written to requesting manuals has sent one right out. I have only had to do that 3 times. S&W, Marlin, and Remington. All got one to me within 2 weeks of my request.

Locate S&W website and I believe you can request on there.

My experience with Marlin has been excellent.I bought two used ones at my local gun shop and on different occasions and Marlin sent the manuals right away. They even offered to answer any questions I might have, not covered in the manual.Good people in my opinion.-Charlie
