Looking to buy one of the Harris Bipods and wanted to know which size most of you use. Any opinions would be helpful. Thanks

First off - how tall are you? I am 6'2" and I had to go with the tallest one they make, which I think it is 25", would have to go & measure. This one allows me to sit on my butt without having to bend over.

Coyote-man got it right. The longer the better.

coyote-man got it basically correct if your shooting in the field in a kneeling or sitting position ... however a 25" bi-pod may not serve you well at the bench ... or from a prone position ... for the bench, I like the 6-9" BR, for prone the 9-13" and kneeling/sitting the 13-23" (I'm only 5'7") ... its all in the application!

If your intent is to use it for hunting get the long one. It makes a rock steady sitting rest and when collapsed it works well in the prone. I've had one on one of my hunting rifles for years and it has proven more than useful.
