Ok, Here is a good one. A friend of mine brought this old rifle over to me today. Its a Colt Lightning .22 rimfire. For those of you who know about these rifles, I dont need to go any further in description, you know what it is. Made between 1887 and 1904, the parts are impossible to find, as far as I know. Which brings me to the reason of the post. Does anyone know where I can at least get the stock retaining screw that goes through the tang? I also would like to get a forearm for it, as its missing, but the screw would be really nice. I told him that the gun was worth a good amount, just for parts, if he found the right collector, but I dont think hes selling, so I'd just like to find the screw, so the stock will quit falling off and wiggling around. Thanks for any ideas of where to find this screw. I have already looked at Numrich Gun Parts Corp. and I didnt see it there, maybe I just didnt look good enough, dunno. Help me if you can, thanks.
