Remington 700 BDL 300 savage nib????

Yesterday,while i was out shopping for a new rifle,i came across a 700 bdl in 300 sav.The rifle was new factory,not rechambered.It must be at least a few years old as there is no trigger lock on it.I was tempted to buy because i don't remember ever seeing one.Is this a(limited run)scarce gun? It was priced the same as the other (common caliber) new BDL,s[This message has been edited by old single shots (edited 04-04-2002).]
