I have a enforcer style universal arms .30 carbine pistol but is not marked with the "enforcer" logo.It does have the pistol grip and 10" barrel, but also has a forearm pistol grip and a metal underfolding shoulder stock.Has anyone seen one like this?It also has a fitted vinyl cover. thanks ,harry

If it doesn't say "Enforcer" and it has a folding stock, what you have is a cut down M-1 that is most likely illegal as hell. I ran into one of these a few years ago. The guy had bought it from a "dealer" at a gun show. (I say dealer because I think it was just a guy with a table, but no FFL) He was having problems with it and wanted me to look at it. As I looked at it, some things just didn't look right. I checked the book and found the barrel wasn't the right length and it did not say "Enforcer" on the receiver. What he had was an illegally modified weapon, just a standard M-1 that someone cut the barrel off. The one he had did just have a pistol grip stock. A pistol length barrel with a folding stock is at best a class 2 weapon, if not an illegal weapon depending if it was registered as a short barreled rifle. I can't say exactly what you have, but I'd be wanting some documentation from the person I got it from if I were you. It sounds to me from what you are descibing that you probably don't want to keep what you have. If you could E-mail me the manufacturer info off the gun with the exact barrel length (to the nearest 1/8 inch) I might be able to tell you more. LRARMSX@MCHSI.COM
