Can anybody give me any information on these?Are they Safe, Fun or Junk.

    There's a lot of these floating around right now as they were heavily imported 3 or 4 years ago. They were the official French military rifle in W.W.II, and like most French rifles they are not a thing of beauty, but are very strong and functional. The 7.5mm French ammo is usually hard to come by, but many of these have been converted successfully to .308 Win. They contain a spike bayonet stored in the tube beneath the barrel. Value is approx. $75 to $125 depending on condition.
