The same gun is listed in the Gun List for sale by KY Imports for $150 with 1 mag. That should help you decide your limit.Neal

Different strokes for different folks. If "inexpensive" is your requirement, there are lots of inexpensive guns, but most fall into this category of old military surplus shooting obsolete cartridges. I have seen some odd stuff in the $50 range. I just won a fairly nice looking High Standard Sentinel (I will know for sure when I get it) for $180, which will hold its value and probably appreciate, plus being more economical to shoot. I do not think this auction will do that within the foreseeable future. For a little over $200, you an buy a Kel-Tec P-11 and have a smaller, lighter, more powerful pistol that you can actually carry for personal protection. It is no one's business but yours what you buy, but when you ask for opinions, you will get a lot of them. This is mine.

I've been thinking about buying a 52, seems interesting. I don't know much about the round it shoots, but thats a good deal if you can get it for that price. It's not a hide-out or concealed gun, it's fairly good sized.
    Thanks, Grizztribefans@sssnet.com

Do a search here on CZ-52 it has been discussed in length. SOG has it listed now in gun list for $119.00 with two new mags and a holster. Shipping is $18.00 for either one or two pistols. Plus FFL fee on your end. Hand pick is $10.00 more. You should be able to have it in your hands for about $150.00. Ammunition is available mail order from several sources such as Cheaper Than Dirt. This thing is a really hard shooter and lots of fun. Run a search on it with one of the search engines, there are some good sites with a lot of info. on them.

I have been pretty concerned about mixing some of that mil-surp in my safe with my real guns. I think I have heard a sad whimper in there occasionally. Can you imagine what a pump operated Ak in 22 cal. would look like? A Win- 47? Could be some real ugly pups!Remingtons? Bite your tongue.P.S. Your new single shot bears a big resemblance to a pre. 1934 Win. 67 with the finger grooved stock. Looks like you did good. I went to that gun show but I didn't see that one. Also the pre 1934 67 assembly screw stuck out below the bottom of the stock like that.
