Are these in the different styles worth the expense? Looking to put one on a target barrel to easy recoil. Anyone with experience would be appreciated...LSB

    They definately reduce recoil, but it is a trade off for muzzle blast and noise. If you wear two sets of ear protection you'll probably be happy with the results. However, I've had customers request that they be removed due to the excessive noise. If your target shooting occurs on a formal known distance shooting range with a line of shooting benches you'll find other shooters complaining and moving several benches away on either side!
