Got another SAR1 today and took it out to the gravel pit to try it out. Shoots great and came pretty well sighted in. Did notice that cosmetically it was a little rougher than the one I got last year. The dealer figures that as Century Arms runs low of stock, you're going to see some that are pretty rough. Anybody out there with multiple copies notice much difference between the ones they got? Do they shoot any different?

I have a Century Arms SAR1. Shoots great, but you're right about the finish. It was new in box, but the furniture looked like it had been refinished poorly. It has a few lacquer globs in the corners here and there. Still a great gun, but if I ever buy another SAR1 from Century, I'll also save up for some new furniture.

I bought one 6 months ago from and individual who i belive bought a batch from century.....its sighted in very well but the finish was almost gut wrenching....there were drip lines from the varnish.I just stripped it, sanded it, varnished it, and sealed it.....now its beeeeeeeautiful!!!
