What is the name of the company that makes the compasses that replaces the adjustment caps on scopes? Do you know anyone that sells them?[This message has been edited by JimmyJack (edited 01-02-2002).]

I came accross a Rem. 44-40 pump action rifle cleaning out my in-laws house. There is no model number stamped on the barrel, but everything matches the model 14.5. It probably is in about 60-70% shape. Anybody know how old and what something like this is worth? Any info would be much appreciated. Thank You, Ernie.[?]

Hi: GEVARM, made in St. Etienne, France. Two models of .22 semiautomatic rifles made. The Model A-6 and the E-1. The A-6 has a one piece stock while the E-1 has a two piece stock. The A-6 fires from an open bolt. This information was taken from the "Standard Catalog of Firearms.Hope this helps.
