Im attempting to install a hogue freefloating forearm on an upper. My question is do you need to remove the barrel to do so? The tube came into the shop in a bag of junk, so i do not have any directions. Any help in the matter would be outstanding.
Thanks,
The Kid

Nevermind, got it.

listin hope you didn't get too far. One big thing to remember is to screw that puppy on TIGHT. It will come loose on you from time to time and then if oyu put any other accessories on it it will throw them off ie bipod and sling. I baught mine on a factory gun at least thats how I bought it and the damn thing kept coming loose only a little bit though and the bipod would screw up. I had to tighten it up as tight as I could and redrill the holes, but then after a couple of years no more problems, good luck they are nice.

New gun??? No, honey, I've had it for years.
