Rebarrel a Savage 110...much work?

Anyone know how much work it would be for a wannabe gunsmith to rebarrel and headspace a Savage 110? I want to have an extra barrel in 25-06 for my 30-06, does that sound feasible? A switch barrel Savage? Would I need to do anything other than screw one off and put the other on and headspace it? Nothing but a headspace guage required, which I have? A barrel nut wrench and that ought to do it right? Whadaya think?

Ryan, the easiest firearm to make into a switch barrel other than them single shot pistols is a Savage 110. Turn off the large barrel nut, screw out barrel (make sure you index it first), screw in new barrel, headspace it, once again make sure that you index the new barrel, screw on barrel nut. There ya go, a switch barrel rifle.

Thanks Allen, thought it should be pretty easy. Now how to best loosen the nut without marring it at all.
