6.5x300 Wby

My friend was just given a rifle from his friend. It's a ruger number one, but it has a new stainless bull barrel. On the barrel it's listed as 6.5x300 Wby. Does anybody have any info on this cartridge and where it can be bought. The original owner just told my friend that he got ammo from a family member out in Oregon. Any help would be appreciated.

    It's a wildcat cartridge. No factory ammo available. Handloader project. I have loading data if you want some.

    Thanks for the info and I would greatly appreciate some loading data. I reload but my friend does not. I guess that is why the guy got ammo from a family member. Thanks again.
