Having a hard time determining a value for a rifle custom made by Les Bauska in 1976. Its a .35x.348 Ackley Improved. Has a Siamese Mauser action converted to left hand, custom Reinhart Fajen american walnut and rosewood stock, williams peep sights, a Dayton II fully adjustable trigger. The rifle has been a family piece and is in excellent condition. Has all the receipts and documentation from Bauska and Fajen. Just trying to find an approximate appraisal and maybe some history on Bauska. Can't seem to find a whole lot on Les Bauska, just a few refs.Any suggestion on value would be helpful.Any comments or suggestions welcome.

Les Bauska; Kalispel, Montana. Maker of Custom Rifles and Barrels. I bought a Custom .50 Caliber Round Ball, Black Powder Barrel from Bauska back in 1972 and recieved it 1974...Paid $250.00 for it...Was the best Barrel I ever owned for Black Powder Competition..At that Time Bauska was the best Black Powder Barrel Maker in the Country and had a Waiting list of almost 2 years..Several Friends In Arizona had Les make them Varmit Barrels and I've heard nothing but Glowing Reports..Thats about sums up what I know about Bauska...Hope there is some useful enformation in this report that will be of some small service to You....Best.....
