I picked up a Savage .243 model 110D Series J serial #A86219xx and cannot find a Series J in any of my 3 gun bibles. Any idea on what that is and a value if gun is 80%? Thanks.

I don't have my bluebook in front of me, but if memory serves, the J series was an upgrade 110 from maybe the early 70's. Consider the price the same as any other (except E series) 110 in most cases.

I noticed lately Savage has alot of different Models that isnt listed in the book the way Savage has them listed.I bought one Savage and its a Model 11F I couldnt find any thing on it.Its got a pretty polished stock. And it came with a sling which I replaced for one with a scene on it.A 3x9x36mm scope factory Bore sighted more less the whole package.I have found the model 11 but not like this one.The stock reminds me of a REM BDL stock,I bought it because of the price a gun store was going out of business, and I got a great deal on it.Its chambered for the .308 which I already had.But it is as accurate as any gun I own.You may have to call Savage to get the complete info on your gun.I did and was told it was a limited run model.

    Best of luck!
