I have a well used but good Weaver rifle scope that needs to be reblued
I can't seem to find the right people to ask at Weaver to ask if they will reblue or how much they will charge.
Can anyone out there assist me?
    Thanks, Ralph

I just got a Winchester model 70 264 mag and I am thinking about putting a 3x9x40 Burris f fullfield 2 with the ballistic plex on it. Don't tell me to buy a Leupold or zeiss or schmitt and bender on it because I am already a Burris man. The question is can the Ballistic plex recticle be calibrated to a 264 win mag. any replies will be appreciated as long as they dont have the word leupold in them

Yes. Easily. Using a 200 yard Zero factor::

129 grain SP, Muzzle Vel. 3200 fps, Ballistic Coefficient .369
RANGE DOT SET POINTS BULLET DROP
    300 yds. 4.7" 6.4"
    400 yds. 18.0 18.6
    500 yds. 37.6 37.6

140 grain SP, Muzzle Vel. 3200 fps, Ballistic Coefficient .441
RANGE DOT SET POINTS BULLET DROP (MV 3100)
    300 yds. 4.7 5.7 6.5
    400 yds. 18.0 17.1 18.2
    500 yds. 37.6 34.9 38.1

You would be so close, at those ranges you're "right on the money"
If your familiar with Maximum Point Blank Range (MPBR) for hunting, ...you can't miss.

You can fine tune groups, and POI's using different loads, and the scope adjustments.

For any scopes ballistics to work, mounting must be done correctly. Plus the rifle must be working right.

Remember, these #s are calculations, not actual range shooting. So if things are close, that's what they actually are,...close.

There is no guesswork when using correct set ups like these. The biggest variables are: ammo, and your trigger finger.

    Have fun.

#'s MOVED WHEN POSTED...!!!???? Don't know why.

I have three Burris scopes and two have the ballistic plex recticle, and they are great scopes. Guns & Glass did the math for you and it only takes a little fine tuning at the range to make a custom trajectory chart. You might look at the 4.5x14 if you stretch out your .264.
