I have been looking for a CCW gun and I have faith in revolvers for various reasons one being if I have a bad primer and only have one hand to use all I do is pull the trigger and try the next round. But anyway I would like to have a big bore snub revolver.I have been looking at the Taurus 450?The price seems low but what is the quality of this gun and how hard is the re-coil?Also would like to hear from anyone with the Taurus 445 .44spl and Taurus 415 .41magnum.I am most interested in the 450 unless someone can give a compelling argument aganst it.Thanks For Help.

The Caliber is of course up to you. Taurus makes some of the best handguns there is.. Early on 15 yrs ago, they made cheap copies of Smiths. Now they make many good quality. They also have lifetime warr.

If the 450 is the titanium 45 Colt snubbie than I shot one a couple of years ago at the Memphis DU outdoor show. This is a very light gun and I can only describe the recoil as quick, not heavy at all, just quick, with the porting you were back on target immediately. The ribbed grips were great, I wouldn't mind having them on all my guns. Accuracy was very good at 10 yds. I would have liked to have shot it more but it was $5.00 for 10 rds. and there were more guns I wanted to shoot.

    ...from my cold dead fingers!!
