I have never heard of a Street Sweeper in .410 caliber. However, a few years ago they were designated as class three weapons. There was an amnisty period to get them registered for free. This is now long over. Unless this is "papered" (Legally Registered) it would now be illegal and you would want to stay away from it. If the owner can produce the paperwork, then it would be O.K. I am NOT a lawyer, but I know I am correct.
    Hope this helps.

THE GUN WAS MADE FOR A 45/70 AND CALLED "WOMENS HOME COMPANION" PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL OFFICE "BATF" BEFORE YOU TRY TO OWN THIS GUN. I THINK YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT THE PROBLEMS YOU WILL FACE. GOOD LUCK AND BETTER SAFE THAN IN JAIL.

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

BTW, it was called the "Ladies Home Companion". It was made in .45LC/.410 and there was also another model made in .45-70. The .45/410 was more popular.
